Description

Altronix T2SSK75F14DV Concise Descriptor

Overview

The Altronix T2SSK75F14DV is a high-capacity power distribution unit designed to provide simultaneous 24VDC and 12VDC outputs, each capable of delivering up to 10A. This unit is engineered for demanding surveillance installations where multiple devices, such as cameras, illuminators, and access control components, require stable, regulated power from a single source. Its S2 PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) protection on each output prevents overcurrent conditions from damaging connected equipment, offering a critical layer of device safeguarding. The 220V input capability makes it suitable for international deployments or facilities with specific power infrastructure requirements.

Compatibility

This power distribution unit is designed to power a wide array of low-voltage surveillance and security devices. It is compatible with any system requiring 24VDC or 12VDC power inputs up to 10A per output. This includes, but is not limited to, various brands of IP cameras, analog cameras, IR illuminators, video management systems, access control panels, and door strike hardware that specify these voltage and current requirements. The PTC fuses provide individual circuit protection, making it suitable for mixed loads where different devices may have varying power draw characteristics.

Installation Notes

Ensure the input voltage is set to 220VAC via the voltage selector switch before connecting to AC power. Each output is protected by a resettable PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) fuse, which will trip if current exceeds 10A. Once the fault is cleared, the PTC will reset automatically. Verify that the total current draw for all devices connected to each output does not exceed 10A to prevent nuisance tripping and ensure optimal performance. Proper ventilation is required for the enclosure to dissipate heat generated during operation.
