Panduit CJ688TGYL-24 Module Jack
Overview
The Panduit CJ688TGYL-24 is a Category 6 UTP RJ45 TG-style module jack designed for terminating 22-26 AWG 4-pair twisted-pair cable. This jack is 100% factory tested to exceed industry standards, ensuring reliable data transmission. The TG-style termination eliminates the need for a punch-down tool, simplifying installation. Each jack features an individual serial number for traceability and is compatible with the Panduit Mini-Com modular patch panels and faceplates. This module jack is yellow and supplied in a package of 24 units.
Compatibility
This module jack supports 10GBASE-T transmission up to 100 meters on 22-26 AWG 4-pair twisted-pair systems. It meets or exceeds ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6 and ISO 11801 Class E channel and component requirements up to 250 MHz. It is compliant with ANSI/TIA-1096-A, IEC 60603-7, and IEC 60512-99-001 standards. The jack is rated for 2,500 cycles with IEEE 802.3af/802.3at and proposed 802.3bt Type 3 and Type 4 applications, making it suitable for Power over Ethernet (PoE) delivery up to PoE++ (802.3bt) Class 4.
Installation Notes
The TG-style termination is tool-less, simplifying field installation. Ensure proper cable management to maintain bend radius requirements for optimal performance. The jack is UL 1863 and UL 2043 listed.
