Overview
The Altronix EFLOW104NX8V is a 24VDC power distribution unit designed for continuous operation of surveillance equipment. It provides a primary 10A output with fused protection for up to eight devices, plus a 1A auxiliary output. Crucially, it incorporates instantaneous failover to a sealed lead-acid battery (7AH or 12AH, 12VDC) upon AC power loss, ensuring uninterrupted system operation. This unit is ideal for installations where continuous power is critical, such as security cameras, access control panels, or network switches in environments with unreliable mains power. The integrated Fire Alarm Disconnect (FAD) and supervision features provide essential system status monitoring.
Compatibility
This unit is designed to power a wide range of 24VDC surveillance devices, including IP cameras, PTZ cameras, network switches, and access control systems that draw up to 10A total from the main output. It is compatible with standard 7AH or 12AH, 12VDC sealed lead-acid batteries. The unit's AC failure and battery failure supervision features with Form C contacts allow integration with alarm panels and monitoring systems.

The EFLOW104NX8V requires a 220VAC (198VAC - 256VAC, 50/60Hz) input, drawing a maximum of 2.7A. The main output provides 24VDC continuous at 10A, with individual fused outputs rated at 6.3A/250V for the battery circuit and 2.5A/250V fuses or 2A PTCs for the eight device outputs. Battery failure and AC failure supervision are provided via Form C contacts. The operating temperature range is 0ºC to 49ºC (32ºF to 120ºF). The unit weighs 6.8 lbs (3.08 kg) and measures 13.5” x 13” x 3.25”.
