Description

Middle Atlantic LACE-13-OWP Vertical Cable Lacer Strip with Cable Tie Posts

Overview

The Middle Atlantic LACE-13-OWP is a 13U vertical cable lacer strip designed for open-wall and rack-mount cable management installations. Each strip measures 22.75 in. tall × 4.75 in. wide × 0.13 in. deep and includes integrated cable tie posts, giving installers consistent anchor points to route and dress cables vertically along a rack or wall pathway without improvising tie-down locations. The LACE-13-OWP ships as a pack of six strips — enough to handle both sides of a multi-rack run or a full wall-mount cable pathway in a single order. For AV integrators and security infrastructure teams managing dense camera, switch, or access control wiring, uniform lacing significantly reduces rework time during moves and adds compared to ad-hoc cable management.

Compatibility

The LACE-13-OWP is designed for Middle Atlantic open-wall pathway (OWP) systems and standard 13U rack enclosure and cable management installations. The 13 RU height aligns with Middle Atlantic's OWP vertical channel product family. Verify your OWP channel depth and mounting slot pattern before ordering — the 4.75 in. width and 0.13 in. profile are specific to the OWP series mounting geometry. These strips are not intended for enclosed rack interiors where horizontal finger ducts are the primary cable management method.

Installation Notes

Each strip is 0.13 in. deep, so clearance between the lacer face and adjacent cable bundles is minimal — plan your cable routing before final fastening. At 22.75 in. per strip, a vertical stack of two covers a standard 42U rack side rail with overlap. The six-piece pack yields a shipping weight of 7 lbs.; plan rack weight budgets accordingly when populating a full cabinet with multiple lacer runs.
