Description

Middle Atlantic LACE-44-OWP Vertical Lacing Strip

Overview

The Middle Atlantic LACE-44-OWP is a 44-rack unit (RU) vertical lacing strip designed for 19-inch equipment racks. It provides a structured pathway for managing and securing large bundles of cables, preventing disorganization and potential signal interference. This strip is ideal for environments where dense cabling is common, such as server rooms, AV installations, or network closets, ensuring a cleaner and more serviceable infrastructure. The integrated tie posts offer convenient anchor points for securing cables with zip ties or hook-and-loop fasteners.

Compatibility

This lacing strip is designed for standard 19-inch wide rack systems. Its 44 RU height makes it suitable for full-height racks, providing extensive vertical cable management. It is compatible with most rack enclosures and open rack systems that accommodate standard RU spacing. The 4.75-inch width allows for substantial cable capacity without protruding excessively into the equipment mounting space.

Installation Notes

Installation requires mounting to the vertical support members of a 19-inch rack. The unit utilizes standard RU spacing for alignment. Ensure the rack structure is stable before attaching the lacing strip, especially when managing significant cable loads. The 0.13-inch depth ensures minimal impact on adjacent rack-mounted equipment.
