Overview
The CyberPower CPS1220RMS is a 1U rackmount Power Distribution Unit (PDU) designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from power surges and spikes. With 1800 joules of surge protection and 12 NEMA 5-20R outlets, it is suitable for deployment in server racks, network closets, and other critical infrastructure environments where reliable power conditioning is essential. Its industrial-grade metal housing and EMI/RFI filtering ensure stable operation for connected devices.
Compatibility
This PDU is designed for standard 19-inch rack systems. It accepts standard 120 VAC input and provides 120 VAC output through its 12 outlets. The NEMA 5-20P plug is compatible with standard 120V circuits, and the unit's 20A capacity is suitable for powering multiple devices in a rack, including network switches, servers, and surveillance equipment. The 15-foot cord provides flexibility in placement within a rack or cabinet.
Installation Notes
The CPS1220RMS mounts horizontally in a standard 1U rack space. It features 2 outlets on the front panel for easy access and 10 outlets on the rear panel for less frequently accessed equipment. Operating temperature range is 32-95°F (0-35°C) with 0-95% non-condensing humidity. A 20A circuit breaker protects against overloads.
