ATEN US3311 USB-C Sharing Switch
Overview
The ATEN US3311 is a 2-port USB-C sharing switch designed for environments where multiple workstations need to access a single USB-C peripheral, such as a docking station, monitor, or high-speed storage. This switch streamlines workflows by allowing users to toggle between two computers with a single button press, eliminating the need to physically disconnect and reconnect cables. It supports USB-C Power Delivery (PD) pass-through, meaning it can charge connected laptops while sharing peripherals, consolidating power and data connections into one device. This model is ideal for hot-desking setups or shared workstation scenarios.
Compatibility
This USB-C sharing switch is compatible with any computer utilizing a USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode and USB Power Delivery. It is designed to work with laptops running Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems. The switch supports USB-C PD power adapters up to 100W input, allowing it to charge connected laptops at their maximum supported rate (up to 20V/5A). Port 1 supports USB-C PD laptop charging, while Port 2 supports a maximum 5V/3A output for connected peripherals.
Installation Notes
The US3311 requires a 12V/3.3A DC power adapter (sold separately) for its own operation, especially when utilizing PD pass-through features. It supports USB-C PD laptop charging at 5V, 9V, 15V, or 20V output. The operating humidity range is 0–80% RH, non-condensing. Firmware can be upgraded to v1.1.104.
