The TRAY-25-NK-BLK04 is a 2.5" U.2 drive tray from QNAP, purpose-built to seat U.2 NVMe SSDs into the QNAP storage ecosystem. U.2 drives require a dedicated carrier — this tray provides the mechanical interface that locks the drive securely into the adapter slot, preventing vibration-induced disconnects in always-on NAS environments. If you're expanding storage capacity in a NAS or storage expansion unit using U.2 SSDs, this is the missing mechanical piece between the drive and the host adapter.

Compatibility

The TRAY-25-NK-BLK04 is confirmed compatible with the QDA-SA3 adapter. The QDA-SA3 is a QNAP U.2-to-SAS/SATA adapter module used in select QNAP ES-series and compatible expansion enclosures. If your deployment uses a different QNAP drive adapter — such as QDA-UMP or QDA-A2MAR — verify tray compatibility against the adapter's specification before ordering, as tray form factors are not interchangeable across adapter families.
