Overview

The Panduit UTP28SP1VL is a 1-foot Cat6 UTP patch cord designed for high-density network environments. Its 28 AWG stranded conductor construction and compact 0.150-inch diameter simplify cable management in racks and cabinets, reducing airflow obstruction and easing moves, adds, and changes. The integrated tangle-free latch ensures secure connections and simplifies disconnection. This cord is suitable for Gigabit Ethernet, VoIP, and digital video applications, supporting up to 1000BASE-T speeds.

Compatibility

This Panduit patch cord is designed to meet or exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6 standards. It is compatible with standard RJ45 modular plugs and supports 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet) and 100BASE-T (Fast Ethernet) networks. It also supports 155 Mb/s and 622 Mb/s ATM, digital video, voice/data systems, and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) deployments. The cable is rated for PoE++ (802.3bt) applications, supporting up to 48 cables in a bundle for IEEE 802.3af/802.3at and 24 cables in a bundle for 802.3bt types 3 and 4.
