Description

Speco Technologies N16WNUM16TB 16-Channel Wall-Mount NVR with Monitor

Overview

The N16WNUM16TB is a compact 16-channel network video recorder purpose-built for wall-mounted deployment in small-to-medium commercial environments. It combines a 16-channel recording engine, 16TB onboard storage, and an integrated monitor in a single enclosure — eliminating the need for separate display hardware and reducing footprint in server closets, control rooms, or retail back offices. The TAA compliance designation confirms suitability for federal and government procurement channels.

Compatibility

This recorder accepts any standards-compliant IP camera delivering ONVIF-compatible video streams over Ethernet. Speco's own IP camera lines integrate directly; third-party cameras from major manufacturers (Axis, Hikvision, Dahua, Hanwha, etc.) requiring ONVIF support will also work. Verify your camera's ONVIF Profile S or T compliance before deployment. The integrated monitor supports local playback and live viewing without requiring external display infrastructure.

Installation Notes

Wall mounting requires standard VESA-compatible bracket hardware and a dedicated 120V AC power connection. Ensure rack or wall location has adequate ventilation — heat dissipation is critical during continuous 16-channel recording. Connect all cameras via standard Ethernet (PoE-injected or switch-delivered power) to a PoE-capable network switch; this recorder does not supply PoE power itself, so budget your switch's power capacity accordingly. Network bandwidth demand scales with camera resolution and frame rate; gigabit Ethernet connection is strongly recommended for smooth playback and remote access.
