Overview
The ATEN 2L2703 is a 10 ft (3.0 m) DB25 daisy chain cable with a male DB25 connector on one end and a female DB25 connector on the other. It extends or chains KVM switch installations where a DB25 daisy chain port is required — the correct pick when you need to link compatible ATEN KVM units without shortening reach or compromising signal integrity across the chain. The 3.0 m run gives enough slack for adjacent rack bays or cross-cabinet routing without forcing tight bends at the port.

Designed for ATEN KVM switches that use a DB25 daisy chain interface. Compatible ATEN product families include legacy and current KVM series with a dedicated DB25 daisy chain port, such as the ATEN CS and MasterView KVM switch lines that specify DB25 daisy chain connectivity. Always verify your KVM model's daisy chain port type before ordering — some ATEN families use RJ-45 or proprietary daisy chain connectors rather than DB25. This cable is not a general-purpose DB25 serial or parallel cable and should not be substituted in those applications.
Installation Notes
Route the cable with the male connector into the daisy chain output port of the upstream KVM and the female connector into the daisy chain input of the downstream unit. At 10 ft, plan rack positioning so the cable path avoids sharp bends at either termination. DB25 connectors on KVM gear are typically secured with thumbscrews — finger-tighten only; over-torquing the plastic KVM housing can crack the port surround.
