Overview

The Comnet FVR110M1 is the receiver half of a paired video transceiver system that carries short-haul EIA RS-250C digitally encoded video and bi-directional control data over optical fiber — solving the distance and noise immunity problem when analog video coaxial runs become impractical. Deploy this unit at the far end of a fiber link to recover video and data from a transmitter (FVT110) mounted near your camera or PTZ head. The FVR110M1 handles 10-bit video encoding standard in broadcast-grade surveillance systems, supporting simultaneous bidirectional RS232, RS422, or RS485 data at rates up to 250 kbps.

Compatibility

Compatible with Panasonic Proteus, Pelco Coaxitron, and Bosch Bilinx up-the-coax control systems. The receiver accepts both multimode (MM) and single-mode (SM) fiber variants — specify the matching transmitter (FVT110M1 for multimode, FVT110S1 for single-mode) to complete the pair. Works with any EIA RS-250C camera or PTZ that outputs standard composite video and supports one of the three data protocols (RS232, RS422, 2/4-wire RS485) or contact closure signaling.
