The Signamax 065-1810Z is a hardened industrial media converter designed to bridge the gap between copper Ethernet and fiber optic networks, specifically for surveillance deployments. It converts 10/100BaseT/TX copper Ethernet signals to 100BaseFX multimode fiber signals, extending network reach up to 2 kilometers. Crucially, this unit also provides Power over Ethernet (PoE+) output (PSE) to power a connected device, such as an IP camera, eliminating the need for a separate power injector at the remote end.
