The Signamax 065-1110LFS is a managed media converter designed to bridge the gap between copper Ethernet (10/100BaseT/TX) and multimode fiber optic (100BaseFX) networks. This unit extends network connectivity up to 2 kilometers, making it suitable for connecting devices in separate buildings or across large campus environments where standard Ethernet cable runs are insufficient. Its SC connector ensures a secure and reliable fiber optic link.

Compatibility

This media converter is designed to interface with standard 10/100BaseT/TX Ethernet ports found on network switches, routers, and end devices. On the fiber side, it connects to 100BaseFX multimode fiber optic infrastructure utilizing SC connectors. It is compatible with any network equipment that adheres to the IEEE 802.3u (Fast Ethernet) standard for copper and fiber transmission.

Installation Notes
