The VK330 is a wall-mountable 10.1-inch touch panel designed specifically for the ATEN VK Control System platform, giving operators a dedicated hardware interface for room automation, AV control, and building management scenarios. The VK330 draws power over a single Ethernet run via 802.3at PoE+ — no local power outlet, no separate power brick, no conduit for low-voltage wiring alongside the data cable. That single-cable installation is the practical reason to specify this panel over a generic tablet solution: it reduces rough-in cost and keeps the wall plate clean. A quad-core processor and 16GB of flash onboard means the panel renders control pages locally without stuttering, even on complex multi-device layouts. The 500 cd/m² luminance keeps the display readable in bright conference rooms and open-plan spaces without requiring the installer to hunt for a shaded mounting position.

Compatibility

The VK330 is purpose-built for the ATEN VK series control system ecosystem. It is designed to pair with ATEN VK series controllers and the ATEN Control System software platform. A single Gigabit Ethernet port (1 x RJ-45 Female, 10/100/1000 BaseT) handles both network communication and PoE+ power delivery from an 802.3at-capable PoE+ switch or midspan injector — confirm your switch port budget accommodates PoE+ Class 4 (up to ~30W) before ordering. The USB Type-A port supports peripheral attachment where the VK platform allows. Do not attempt to use this panel with non-ATEN control platforms; it is not a general-purpose Android or Windows touch display.

Installation Notes

Operate within 10–80% RH non-condensing humidity limits — avoid mounting directly adjacent to HVAC discharge vents or in unconditioned spaces. Firmware is field-upgradeable; the current release is v1.11.19o (2025-11-14). Plan a structured cabling run to an 802.3at PoE+ switch port; standard 802.3af (15.4W) is not sufficient for this panel. Confirm wall-box depth and cutout dimensions against ATEN's published mechanical drawings before rough-in — spec sheet dimensions follow LxWxH format per ATEN's rack-mount convention, not the standard WxDxH orientation.
