Overview
The Middle Atlantic UD1 is a 1-rack-unit utility drawer built for standard 19-inch rack enclosures. Integrators use it to keep loose gear — tools, patch leads, remotes, SFP modules, small transceivers — accessible at the rack face without consuming valuable shelf space or leaving items unsecured. The UD1 occupies a single 1.75-inch RU, so it costs you almost nothing in vertical real estate while adding practical storage directly where you're working. Compatibility
Fits any standard EIA-310 19-inch rack rail configuration. The UD1 adjusts between 15.5 and 20.5 inches of mounting depth, making it compatible with Middle Atlantic's ERK, BGR, LRK, and WRK series enclosures as well as most third-party 19-inch open-frame and enclosed racks within that depth range. Four mounting points secure the drawer to the rack rail on both sides — standard cage nut or threaded-strip rail patterns apply. If you're specifying a full rack build alongside network video recorders or managed switches, the UD1 drops in alongside any 1U or 2U device without adapter hardware.
