Description

Panduit FML25RAN Concise Descriptor

Overview

The Panduit FML25RAN is a 1 RU rackmount fiber optic module designed to manage and terminate single-mode fiber optic cables within a standard 19-inch rack. This unit provides a clean, organized termination point for fiber runs, simplifying network infrastructure management and reducing potential signal degradation caused by disorganized cabling. It's ideal for data centers, telecommunication rooms, and enterprise network closets where high-density fiber connectivity is required.

Compatibility

This rackmount module is designed for use with Panduit's fiber optic trunk cables and patch cords. It supports standard LC or SC fiber connectors, depending on the specific adapter plates installed (adapter plates sold separately). It integrates seamlessly into Panduit's Net-Access™ and Tera-Power™ cabinet systems, as well as other standard 19-inch rack and cabinet installations.

Installation Notes

Installation requires standard rack mounting hardware (not included). Ensure sufficient clearance within the rack for cable bend radius. Fiber optic connector cleaning is critical before and after installation to ensure optimal performance. The module accepts standard fiber adapter plates, which must be ordered separately based on connector type (LC/SC) and fiber mode (single-mode/multimode).
