Compatibility

The 682A-PT is sized for standard half-gang insert positions within Middle Atlantic's PLA (Plate-style) accessory system, which accepts half-gang and full-gang inserts across the product line. It is compatible with Middle Atlantic wall-plate frames and surface-mount boxes designed for the PLA insert format. Verify the frame or surface-mount enclosure accepts half-gang inserts before ordering — not all Middle Atlantic plate frames accommodate mixed half/full-gang configurations in every position.

Installation Notes

Route low-voltage cable bundles through the pass-through opening during rough-in; the plate snaps or screws into the gang frame per the host enclosure's retention method.
