The Hanwha HCD-6010 is a 2MP Wisenet HD+ analog dome camera designed for indoor surveillance installations requiring Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution and reliable day/night performance. This fixed-lens dome provides flexible video transmission across multiple analog protocols (AHD, TVI, CVI, CVBS) on a single camera platform, simplifying system integration for installers and reducing SKU management for integrators. The compact 4.33" x 3.39" form factor and plug-and-play 12VDC power design make it ideal for standard indoor deployments in retail, office, and facility environments.
The HCD-6010 supports ACP, TCP, and CCP coaxial protocols in addition to standard CVBS composite video output, providing compatibility with existing analog DVR systems, hybrid recorders, and analog transmission infrastructure. The camera integrates with a comprehensive range of Hanwha mounting accessories including pendant mounts (SBP-300CM), wall mounts (SBP-120WM), corner bases (SBP-300KM1), hanging mounts (SBP-300HM7), parapet mounts (SBP-300LM), and installation boxes (SBP-300NB), accommodating varied ceiling types and structural configurations. Tinted bubble covers (SPB-IND12) and protective domes (SPG-IND12B) are available for enhanced vandal resistance and aesthetic integration. Operating temperature range of -10°C to +55°C (14°F to 131°F) with 0–90% RH (non-condensing) humidity tolerance supports standard indoor climate-controlled environments.
I spec the HCD-6010 for straightforward indoor installs where you need solid 1080p clarity without the infrastructure overhead of IP. The multi-protocol output is genuinely useful—you can drop this dome into AHD, TVI, CVI, or legacy CVBS environments without stocking separate SKUs, which matters when you're managing inventory across service calls. The 2.8mm lens gives you roughly 100° horizontal coverage, so it works well in lobbies, hallways, and small retail spaces where you want wide situational awareness rather than zoomed detail at distance.
One thing to confirm upfront: verify your DVR's protocol compatibility and firmware revision before deployment. While the camera supports all four coax standards, you'll need to physically switch the camera to match your recorder—it's a DIP switch setting, not auto-sensing. Also, this is a fixed-lens unit, so if your coverage area requires optical zoom or telephoto reach beyond about 20 feet for facial ID, you'll want a varifocal model instead. For standard indoor monitoring with existing coax infrastructure, it's a reliable workhorse.
