One thing to confirm upfront: verify your DVR's protocol compatibility and firmware revision before deployment. While the camera supports all four coax standards, you'll need to physically switch the camera to match your recorder—it's a DIP switch setting, not auto-sensing. Also, this is a fixed-lens unit, so if your coverage area requires optical zoom or telephoto reach beyond about 20 feet for facial ID, you'll want a varifocal model instead. For standard indoor monitoring with existing coax infrastructure, it's a reliable workhorse.
