The Hubbell HBTCTRS8 is an 8-inch center support designed to reinforce wire basket cable trays. This component is critical for maintaining the structural integrity of overhead cable management systems, preventing sagging and ensuring the safe support of network, power, and data cabling in enterprise and industrial environments. Its pre-galvanized finish offers moderate corrosion resistance for indoor applications.
This center support is engineered for use with Hubbell's wire basket tray systems. It is specifically designed to fit 8-inch wide trays, providing a secure attachment point to prevent deflection under load. Verify compatibility with your specific Hubbell wire basket tray series to ensure proper fit and load-bearing capacity.
Installation requires securing the support to the tray using appropriate hardware (typically sold separately or as part of a kit). Ensure the tray is properly aligned and the support is firmly attached to prevent movement. The pre-galvanized finish is suitable for dry, indoor environments; consult Hubbell documentation for alternative finishes or outdoor applications.
