Description

Middle Atlantic AUTT22SQWRLSMPIC Wide Rule Acoustic Wall Tile — Pearl Ice

Overview

The AUTT22SQWRLSMPIC is a 2' x 2' (60.33 x 60.33 cm) acoustic wall tile from Middle Atlantic's TruTile Designs line, finished in Pearl Ice with a Wide Rule pattern. At 9mm deep and 1.8 lbs, it installs flush against vertical surfaces to reduce ambient noise and flutter echo in Middle Atlantic equipment rooms, AV control suites, broadcast booths, and huddle spaces where hard parallel surfaces create intelligibility problems. The panel is constructed from PET Felt — 100% polyester — which absorbs mid-to-high frequency reflections without the off-gassing or durability concerns of fiberglass-faced tiles. The Pearl Ice colorway is a neutral near-white that integrates cleanly into finished commercial interiors without requiring custom painting or trim work. TAA compliance makes it eligible for government and acoustic panel procurement programs with domestic sourcing requirements. Flame retardant material meets commercial building safety standards for occupied spaces. Mounting hardware is not included — fasteners and installation method depend on your substrate and layout, so plan accordingly before ordering.

Compatibility

Designed for use with Middle Atlantic's TruTile Designs acoustic wall tile system. Tiles install in standard 2' x 2' grid configurations on compatible wall mounting frameworks. The Wide Rule surface pattern coordinates with other TruTile panel designs for mixed-pattern installations. Verify your wall track or clip system accepts 9mm-depth panels before specifying — thicker or thinner tiles from other series may require different retention hardware. TAA-compliant sourcing makes these tiles compatible with AV furniture and room build-outs subject to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.225-1. For large-format deployments across rack room or NOC builds, confirm Pearl Ice lot availability to maintain color consistency across panels ordered at different times.

Installation Notes

Mounting hardware is not included with the AUTT22SQWRLSMPIC — specify compatible wall clips, adhesive, or track hardware separately based on your substrate (drywall, concrete, or framed wall). Shipping dimensions are 25.25 x 25.25 x 5 in; account for packaging depth when planning freight for high-quantity orders. The 9mm panel depth is shallow enough for most standard grid systems, but verify clearance against any cable management or conduit running behind the wall surface.
