Hanwha WAVE-AI-01 AI Stream Processing License

Overview

The WAVE-AI-01 is a software license that activates one stream of AI-based video analytics on compatible Hanwha WRR recorders. This is not a camera license — it is a processing entitlement that sits on top of your existing recorder infrastructure. You install it once, receive lifetime software updates at no additional cost, and incur zero annual or maintenance fees. The license works exclusively with WRR-P series recorder models (WRR-P-S202(X), WRR-P-S204(X), WRR-P-S206S, WRR-P-S206S1, WRR-P-A2), enabling edge-based AI inference directly on the recorder hardware rather than offloading to external compute.

Compatibility

The WAVE-AI-01 is compatible only with the following Hanwha WRR recorder models: WRR-P-S202(X), WRR-P-S204(X), WRR-P-S206S, WRR-P-S206S1, and WRR-P-A2. Each license covers exactly one AI-enabled video stream on the target recorder. If you need AI processing on multiple streams, you must purchase one WAVE-AI-01 license per stream. The license does not include any camera recording entitlement — camera licenses are purchased separately and are required in addition to this AI license.

Installation Notes

Installation of the WAVE-AI-01 is performed within the recorder's management interface via software provisioning or license key entry. No hardware modification, mounting, or external wiring is required. Activation occurs immediately upon license key input into the compatible recorder. Ensure your target recorder is running a compatible firmware version that supports WAVE AI licensing before deployment.
