Overview

The IT939-HTVW-1Y is an 8MP outdoor turret designed for fixed-perimeter and building-edge surveillance where you need sharp detail without the footprint of a bullet or dome. The motorized vari-focal lens (2.8–12mm) with remote focus eliminates the need for on-site adjustments—zoom and focus from the VMS control interface. IP66 weatherproofing and IK10 impact resistance handle direct rain, dust, and deliberate contact without compromising the optics or housing seal. At 780g, the compact turret profile fits building corners and soffit mounts cleanly. Integrated IR (40m effective range) plus warm-light illuminators (30m) and Day/Night mode ensure 24/7 usable footage. WDR Pro balances sunlit facades against shadowed recesses in a single exposure without HDR halo artifacts. Object Analytics embedded in the camera engine identifies people, vehicles, and loitering events—reducing false alerts and bandwidth waste from constant streaming.

Compatibility

The IT939-HTVW-1Y is a standalone outdoor IP camera compatible with any ONVIF-capable network video recorder or VMS platform (Milestone, AXIS Camera Station, generic ONVIF systems). No proprietary integration required. Standard RJ-45 Ethernet connection carries both PoE power (802.3af Class 3, max 12.4W) and video/audio data over a single CAT5e or CAT6 cable run. Two-way audio (full duplex) pairs with the built-in microphone and speaker for remote verification or area announcements. Onboard microSD/SDHC/SDXC storage (512GB industrial card pre-installed) provides local backup independent of network connectivity—critical for sites with intermittent uplink or VMS outages.

Installation Notes

Standard CAT5e or CAT6 cables meeting 3P/ETL compliance are required to maintain signal integrity and PoE delivery at distance. Operating temperature range is –30°C to 50°C (–22°F to 122°F with IR off; –30°C to 45°C with IR on), suitable for most North American climates but requires thermal derating in sustained heat above 45°C. The camera supports pan 350°, tilt 70°, and rotate ±175° via motorized gimbal—mount bracket and torque spec guidance are provided in the quick installation guide. Digital I/O (1 input, 1 output) and audio line connections enable integration with gate triggers, alarm sirens, or external microphones where the built-in audio is insufficient.
