It ships with dual power inputs — so a single PSU failure won't take down your management plane — and two independent 1G network ports, letting you segment management traffic from production traffic on separate VLANs. The unit weighs just under 30 lbs (29.98 lbs) at 2.5 in tall, fitting cleanly into a standard 1U slot without consuming extra rack space. A DB9 serial port and two USB 3.0 ports provide out-of-band console access and local peripheral connectivity for initial commissioning or recovery scenarios where network access is unavailable.

Operating environment requires 10–35°C (50–95°F) ambient temperature and 10–80% relative humidity with a 29°C maximum dew point — standard controlled data center conditions. Three internal fans handle active cooling; ensure front-to-back airflow is unobstructed in the rack. Storage temperature tolerance spans -40°C to -65°C, so the unit ships and stores safely in unheated facilities. The dual power supply inputs require two separate power feeds to provide redundancy; wiring both to the same PDU defeats the purpose. Serial console access via DB9 is useful during initial network configuration when IP is not yet assigned.
