Bosch VZX-8-US 8-Zone Audio Processor

Overview

The VZX-8-US is an 8-zone audio processor built as the core of distributed venue audio systems. It handles 20 processed input sources (including 8 high-quality mic/line inputs) and routes them across zones with full matrix DSP — input EQ, compression, AGC, ANC, noise gate, and room/speaker EQ with FIR filters. The 1.77-inch wall panel controller provides intuitive operator access to volume, source, and zone switching across 150+ languages via Unicode support. Designed for bars, hospitality venues, retail, fitness centers, houses of worship, education, corporate spaces, and warehouses where you need reliable paging, background music, and zone-level mixing without a bulky mixing console.

Compatibility

The VZX-8-US integrates with the Bosch V-series audio ecosystem. Add VCS-8 Call Stations for zone paging and system control, or deploy multiple VWP Wall Panel Controllers for distributed operator stations. The processor connects via 2 x RJ45 Line Outputs to V-series amplifiers, and supports up to 16 accessory devices across 2 x RJ45 Accessory ports (cable runs up to 1,640 feet / 500 meters per port). Control is via Ethernet (TCP/IP and JSON RPC) or 8 x GPIO connections. The intuitive VZX Web App enables fast system configuration and remote monitoring.

Installation Notes

Mount the wall panel controller on wall or in rack (with supplied rack ears). The VZX-8-US accepts audio input and routes processed signal via dual RJ45 outputs to amplifiers. A 32 GB microSD card is included for storing music files, paging messages, and system configurations.
