Overview

The StarTech ST121HDBTDK is a USB-powered HDBaseT extender kit designed to transmit HDMI video and audio signals over a single Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet cable. This kit is ideal for extending high-resolution video from a source device, such as a PC or media player, to a remote display in scenarios where running a long HDMI cable is impractical. Compatibility

This HDBaseT extender kit is compatible with any HDMI source device and display. It requires one Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet cable for signal transmission, with a maximum supported distance of 70 meters (230 feet) for 4K@30Hz signals. The kit includes both a transmitter (local) and receiver (remote) unit, each featuring an HDMI input/output and an RJ45 HDBaseT port. It is designed for standard HDMI 1.4 specifications.

Installation Notes
