Overview
The Unitech 4090-900012G is a passive UHF RFID printable tag designed for on-demand label generation in asset tracking and warehouse operations. Rather than pre-ordering fixed batches, you print and encode these labels in-house — cutting lead times and letting you scale tag deployment to match inventory flow. Comes in 100-unit packs; the 24mm form factor fits standard label stock and integrates with EPCGen2-compliant printer and reader infrastructure.
Compatibility
Works with standard UHF RFID printers and readers supporting EPCGen2 protocol. Integrates with warehouse management systems (WMS) and asset tracking workflows that encode inventory IDs directly onto the tag during print. Requires compatible RFID printer hardware capable of thermal or inkjet label output and UHF encode capability. No special reader prerequisites — any EPCGen2 passive reader will interrogate the tag once applied and encoded.
Installation Notes
Print-and-encode workflow validation is essential before bulk deployment. Confirm your printer supports the 24mm form factor and EPCGen2 write speeds; test encoding accuracy and read range on your target asset types (metal vs. non-metal mounting surfaces affect performance). Material type ZPHY indicates a synthetic substrate suitable for warehouse humidity and temperature swings (roughly 0–50°C typical). No special torque or wiring required — these are passive labels with no power or connectivity of their own.
