Description

Altronix AL300ULPD4CB Concise Descriptor

Overview

The Altronix AL300ULPD4CB is a 2.5A power supply designed to reliably distribute power to multiple surveillance devices. It features four individually fused outputs, each protected by a Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) resettable fuse. This unit is ideal for installations requiring a centralized, protected power source for cameras, access control readers, or other low-voltage security equipment, ensuring each output can handle up to 2.5A without overloading the system. The AL300ULPD4CB is UL Listed for safety and compliance in commercial installations.

Compatibility

This power supply is compatible with a wide range of low-voltage security and surveillance devices that require a 12VDC input and draw up to 2.5A per output. It is commonly used with Altronix power distribution boxes and is suitable for powering IP cameras, video encoders, access control panels, door strike systems, and other security peripherals from various manufacturers that meet these power requirements.

Installation Notes

The AL300ULPD4CB requires a 120VAC, 60Hz input. Each of the four outputs is rated for 12VDC and features a PTC resettable fuse, limiting current to 2.5A per output. The unit should be installed in a dry, indoor location. Ensure proper ventilation around the unit to prevent overheating. Wiring should be performed by a qualified technician following all local electrical codes.
