Overview

The UVC-G4-DOORBELL-PRO-POE-KIT is a compact PoE-powered doorbell camera that integrates visitor detection, two-way audio, and NFC card/keyfob access into a single wall-mounted unit. It solves the common install pain of needing separate power wiring at entry points — everything runs over standard Ethernet at 37–57V DC via PoE, cutting labor time and eliminating transformer runs. The dual-lens design (main camera: 2MP 1600×1200 with 138° H FOV; package camera: 2MP 1600×1200 with 97.5° H FOV) captures both visitor face and package details simultaneously. Smart detection flags people, vehicles, and animals; built-in IR delivers 20 ft night vision. Deploy this when you have UniFi Protect management in place and existing PoE infrastructure at entry points.

Compatibility

The UVC-G4-DOORBELL-PRO-POE-KIT is designed exclusively for UniFi Protect ecosystems. It integrates natively with UniFi Protect mobile apps (iOS and Android) and coordinates with other UniFi cameras, access points, and switches on the same network. The GbE RJ45 port connects to any standard PoE switch or injector rated for 37–57V DC delivery. Wall and wedge mounts (included) fit standard residential door frames; optional gang box and junction box adapters are available separately for surface-mounted installations.

Installation Notes

Operating range is −30 to 40°C (−22 to 104°F) and IPX4 rated — suitable for covered entry areas but not full submersion or prolonged rain spray. Power draw is 7W maximum; confirm your PoE switch or injector has sufficient budget for simultaneous camera power and any downstream devices. The device weighs 264 g; wall and wedge mounts add minimal load. No separate wiring or power supply required — PoE injection eliminates on-site transformer setup.
