Overview

The UACC-RACK-SHELF-CLV is a 1U fixed cantilever shelf for mounting non-rackmount equipment inside standard 19-inch server racks. Solve the integration problem when you're deploying cloud gateways, security controllers, or compact appliances that lack rack ears — the shelf provides a rigid, space-efficient platform without requiring custom mounting hardware. The cantilever design frees up rack depth compared to traditional sliding shelves, a real advantage in shallow wall-mount or cabinet deployments where every inch counts.

Compatibility

The UACC-RACK-SHELF-CLV integrates with standard 19-inch rack installations across Ubiquiti's product ecosystem: UniFi Cloud Gateways, UISP controllers, security appliances, and compact network devices. It fits any 19-inch EIA rack with standard threaded rails. The shelf does not require proprietary mounting arms — use standard M6 threaded inserts or rack rail hardware to secure it. Confirm that your target device(s) weigh no more than 20 kg (44 lb) combined.

Installation Notes

Mount the shelf to both vertical rails of the 19-inch rack using M6 bolts or cage nuts (hardware not included). Ensure the equipment you place on the shelf does not exceed the 20 kg weight capacity — overload risks rail failure. Position the shelf so that heat from mounted equipment can circulate freely; do not block airflow from adjacent devices. The cold-rolled steel construction resists corrosion in typical indoor cabinet environments but will oxidize in high-humidity or outdoor settings — avoid damp spaces.
