Overview
The UACC-INTERCOM-FM is a dedicated flush-mount enclosure for Ubiquiti UniFi Access Intercom installations. It solves the problem of securing an intercom unit into drywall or concrete—providing a clean, recessed mounting surface that protects the device while maintaining a finished appearance in residential, commercial, and industrial access control deployments. The enclosure is designed to sit behind the face plate of a UniFi Access Intercom, anchoring the unit safely in interior and exterior wall applications.

This flush mount is purpose-built for Ubiquiti UniFi Access Intercom systems. It integrates directly with the standard UniFi Access Intercom line, providing the structural foundation for secure, permanent wall installation across access control projects.
Construction and Environmental Rating
The enclosure uses UV-stabilized polycarbonate with polyurethane (PU) coating—critical if you're mounting on an exterior wall exposed to sun and weather. UV stabilization prevents yellowing and brittleness over years of outdoor exposure. The internal mounting structure is powder-coated galvanized steel, resisting corrosion in humid or salty environments. Operating temperature range is -30 to 60°C (-22 to 140°F), supporting deployments from cold warehouses to warm data center entry points. Humidity tolerance of 5 to 90% noncondensing means condensation inside the enclosure is a risk in rapid temperature swings—proper installation practice (avoiding trapping moisture during setup) is essential.

Dimensions are 375.3 × 164.2 × 46 mm (14.8 × 6.5 × 1.8 inches)—a standard width for residential/commercial intercom openings. Weight is 1.15 kg (2.5 lb), light enough for single-person installation but substantial enough to feel secure on drywall anchors or concrete fasteners. The 46 mm depth accommodates standard in-wall rough-in depths without requiring extensive cavity modification.
