The UACC-G5-PTZ-PM-B is a pendant mount bracket for ceiling-suspended deployment of Ubiquiti UniFi G5 and G6 PTZ cameras. Use this when standard wall or pole mounting isn't an option—typical scenarios include suspended ceilings in retail environments, open-plan warehouses, or lobbies where you need the PTZ head centered overhead for optimal pan-tilt coverage without obstructions. The pendant design positions the camera body vertically downward, preserving pan/tilt range and keeping the cable run vertical for cleaner conduit management.
Engineered for UniFi G5 PTZ and G6 PTZ camera models only. This accessory is not compatible with dome, turret, or fixed-lens UniFi cameras—verify your camera model before ordering. Integration is straightforward: mount the bracket to ceiling structure, attach the camera body to the pendant coupling, and route power and network cabling through existing conduit or cable trays.
Ceiling attachment requires standard structural fasteners (not included) rated for the combined weight of the camera, bracket, and mounting hardware—confirm your ceiling type (drywall anchors, toggle bolts, or structural lag bolts into wood/steel) before installation. The pendant design keeps the PTZ head cantilevered, so distribute load across at least two anchor points if local code requires it. Route PoE and network cabling vertically to avoid kinks that degrade performance; use cable clips rated for the cable gauge you're pulling. Ensure the mount height allows full pan/tilt movement without striking ceiling obstacles, HVAC ducts, or lighting fixtures—test pan limits before final power-up.
