Overview
The UACC-G4-INS-COVER-GREY is a purpose-built protective cover for the Ubiquiti G4 Instant compact camera. This grey cover shields the camera from UV degradation, dust ingress, and environmental contamination — critical in outdoor and industrial deployments where unprotected optics degrade surveillance image quality over months of sun exposure. The cover mounts directly to G4 Instant units without tools or optical realignment, and integrates with UniFi Protect surveillance systems without configuration changes.
Compatibility
This cover is engineered exclusively for the Ubiquiti G4 Instant camera. It fits the standard compact form factor and does not obstruct the lens, IR window, or sensor. Install on any G4 Instant unit in outdoor, semi-protected, or light-duty industrial environments. Compatible with all UniFi Protect NVR versions that support G4 Instant feeds.
Installation Notes
No tools required — the cover mounts by hand-press fit onto the G4 Instant housing. Verify that the lens and IR emitter areas remain fully clear before deployment. The cover does not affect electrical connections or data streaming. Remove and inspect the cover every 6–12 months in high-dust or salt-spray environments to prevent moisture trapping inside the housing.
