Overview
The POE-48-24W-WH is a 48V external PoE adapter designed to inject power into Ubiquiti UISP infrastructure deployments. At 24W output, it delivers sufficient power for remote network nodes, outdoor installations, and site deployments where devices require midspan power injection rather than integrated PoE from a switch. The white compact form factor integrates into standard network racks and field installations without occupying significant space or requiring internal power infrastructure modifications.
Compatibility
The POE-48-24W-WH is specified for Ubiquiti UISP ecosystem devices and components rated for 48V PoE input. Verify your target device's power requirements and PoE voltage specification before deployment — this adapter is designed for 48V systems only. Devices requiring different voltage (24V, 55V, or 90V PoE) are not compatible and will not function with this adapter.
Installation Notes
Mount the adapter in a sheltered location — indoors or within an equipment enclosure. The 24W power budget means a single Ethernet run can safely deliver power to one or more devices as long as their combined draw does not exceed 24W. Position the adapter close to the powered device to minimize cable losses. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit during continuous operation. Standard RJ-45 cabling connects the adapter to your network infrastructure and powered devices.
