Overview
The WF-TH220-1001 is a wireless connectivity module that retrofits Wi-Fi and Bluetooth dual-protocol support into compatible TSC thermal label printers. This kit removes the hard dependency on USB or serial connections, letting you deploy networked printers in warehouse distribution centers, cross-dock operations, and retail label-printing stations without running dedicated data cables to each device. No integrated battery — the module draws power from the host printer, so no additional wall plugs or power management.
Compatibility
The WF-TH220-1001 is engineered for the following TSC printer families: TH220, DH220, TH240, and DH240 series. Verify your printer model against the compatible product list in the TSC datasheet before ordering. Installation into printers outside these series will not function. The module integrates into existing thermal transfer and direct thermal workflows and works with standard enterprise Wi-Fi infrastructure (802.11a/b/g/n) and Bluetooth 5.0 or later on compatible mobile devices and label-design platforms.
Installation Notes
Module installation requires opening the printer enclosure and connecting to internal communication headers — this is not a field-swappable part for non-technical users. Consult the TSC TH220/DH220/TH240/DH240 service manual for exact slot location and connector pinout before proceeding. After installation, the printer firmware may require a network configuration reset to detect and initialize the new wireless interface. Have your Wi-Fi SSID and passphrase ready at installation time.
