Overview
The Altronix T2MK3F8SDVAMZ is a compact power distribution module designed to integrate with Altronix MER/PTC series power distribution systems. It provides eight individually fused outputs, each with a resettable PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) thermal fuse, allowing for precise power management and protection for multiple surveillance devices. This module is essential for maintaining system stability and preventing cascading failures in complex CCTV installations by isolating power faults to individual outputs.
Compatibility
This module is specifically designed for use with Altronix TROVE2M2/8DR MER/PTC/220V power distribution enclosures. It is intended to expand the capacity of these systems, providing an additional eight fused outputs for devices such as IP cameras, network switches, or video encoders that require 12VDC or 24VAC input. It is not compatible with other Altronix product lines or third-party power distribution systems.
Installation Notes
Installation requires mounting within a compatible Altronix TROVE2M2/8DR enclosure. Each output terminal block accepts wire gauges from 14 AWG to 22 AWG. The PTC fuses are rated for 2.5A each, providing overcurrent protection. Ensure the total current draw of connected devices does not exceed the capacity of the main power supply feeding the TROVE enclosure.
