Overview
The Altronix T2AGK75F12D is a 12-door power distribution module designed to provide regulated 12VDC output for up to twelve access control or surveillance devices. It consolidates power delivery, simplifying wiring and management for systems requiring distributed power. This unit is ideal for installations where individual devices need clean, stable power and overcurrent protection, such as in mid-sized commercial buildings or multi-tenant facilities.
Compatibility
This module is designed to integrate with Altronix power supply chassis and is compatible with a wide range of 12VDC powered access control systems, including those from LenelS2, Honeywell, DMP, and Brivo. It is also suitable for powering various IP cameras, network switches, and other low-voltage surveillance equipment that require a stable 12VDC source and draw up to 10A total current. The T2AGK75F12D is specifically designed for use within Altronix TROVE2AG2 enclosures.
Installation Notes
Each of the twelve outputs features a resettable 10A PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) thermal breaker, providing individual overcurrent protection for each connected device. This prevents a single device failure from impacting the entire system. The module requires a 12VDC input from a compatible Altronix power supply. Wiring should be performed according to local electrical codes, ensuring proper gauge wire is used for the total current draw. Ensure the total current draw of all connected devices does not exceed the module's 10A rating.
