Overview

The Altronix T1CVKT6SD is a purpose-built power distribution kit that converts a single 802.3bt PoE++ input — up to 90W — into regulated 12VDC and 24VDC outputs with integrated LiFePO4 battery charging, all inside a UL294-listed enclosure. It bundles the TROVE1C1 enclosure, TANGO1B power distribution module, and PTC output control into a single orderable kit, which matters on jobs where sourcing components separately delays commissioning. This is the right hardware for surveillance integrators who need to power mixed-voltage edge devices from a single structured cabling run, without running a separate AC circuit to the enclosure.

  • 802.3bt PoE++ Input (up to 90W): Accepts the full 90W 802.3bt budget from a single Ethernet port, meaning no AC wiring at the enclosure location.   • 65W Combined Output Power: The 12VDC and 24VDC rails share a 65W pool — not 65W per rail. Size your load accordingly; a mix of 12V readers and 24V strikes that totals more than 65W will pull the output into current limiting. Plan the load split before installation, not after.
  • 12VDC at up to 5.4A / 24VDC at up to 2.7A: The asymmetric current allocation reflects where most of the load lives in a typical access control or surveillance edge enclosure — 12V devices (readers, cameras, motion sensors) typically outnumber 24V devices (certain strikes and sirens). If your site is 24V-heavy, verify the 2.7A ceiling against your door count.
  • LiFePO4 Battery Charging — 55W Charging Pool: LiFePO4 chemistry charges at up to 4.6A (12V) or 2.3A (24V) and handles more charge/discharge cycles than sealed lead-acid without the venting and capacity fade concerns. The 55W charging power is a dedicated budget — it does not compete directly with the output rails for the full 65W, but both budgets draw from the 90W input, so account for simultaneous load and charge conditions in your worst-case calculations.
  • PTC Output at 2.5A with 9A Input Current: The PTC (positive temperature coefficient) module provides resettable overcurrent protection at 2.5A output — devices that draw an inrush spike won't permanently trip the circuit, and you won't be replacing fuses in an above-ceiling enclosure. The 9A PTC input current spec governs the upstream feed capacity.
  • Form C Relays at 28VAC/VDC @ 2.5A: On-board Form C relays give you normally-open and normally-closed switching for door strikes, alarm outputs, or ancillary device control. At 28V/2.5A, they handle most standard electric strikes without an external relay module.
