Overview

The Lenovo Thinksystem ST650 V2 server, model 7Z74A01VNA, is a 4U rack-convertible tower system designed for demanding workloads. It supports up to two third-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors, offering substantial compute power for virtualization, databases, or AI inference. The dual 10GbE embedded networking provides high-speed data transfer critical for storage-intensive applications or VDI environments. This server is engineered for enterprise-grade performance and reliability within a flexible form factor.

Compatibility

This server chassis is compatible with one or two third-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors (codenamed "Ice Lake"), supporting up to 36 cores per CPU at speeds up to 3.6 GHz and TDPs up to 250W. It supports up to 32x 128GB 3DS RDIMMs for up to 4TB of system memory, or up to 5TB when incorporating Intel Optane Persistent Memory 200 Series modules. The system supports up to 8x single-wide or 4x double-wide GPU adapters, making it suitable for AI and HPC tasks. The base configuration includes two onboard 10GBASE-T RJ45 Ethernet ports and a dedicated 1GbE management port.
