Overview

The Lenovo ThinkSystem ST650 V2 server chassis, model 7Z74A01UNA, provides a 4U rack-convertible tower form factor designed for enterprise workloads. This chassis supports up to two third-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors, offering substantial compute power for applications requiring high core counts and clock speeds, up to 3.6 GHz. Compatibility

This server chassis is engineered to support one or two third-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors (codenamed "Ice Lake"). It is compatible with Intel C621A "Lewisburg" chipset-based motherboards. The system supports up to 4TB of RDIMM memory or 5TB with a combination of RDIMMs and Intel Optane Persistent Memory 200 Series modules. It accommodates up to 8x single-wide or 4x double-wide GPU adapters, providing significant graphics processing capabilities.

Installation Notes

The ST650 V2 chassis features a rack-convertible design, allowing it to be deployed in a standard 4U rack space or used as a tower. It includes two onboard 10GbE RJ45 Ethernet ports for high-speed data transfer and a dedicated 1GbE port for XClarity Controller (XCC) remote management. Cooling is managed by up to four hot-swap 92 mm fans, which are N+1 redundant, ensuring system stability under load. Each power supply also integrates an additional fan.
