The Lenovo ThinkSystem ST50 7Y48A04QNA is a compact tower server designed for small to medium businesses requiring a reliable, entry-level compute platform. Its versatile form factor allows for placement on a desk or installation in a rack using an optional kit, making it suitable for environments where space is at a premium. This model provides a solid foundation for general business applications, file sharing, and basic network services.

Compatibility

This server is compatible with Microsoft Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and VMware ESXi operating systems. It supports Intel C246 chipset and features four DIMM sockets for Lenovo TruDDR4 DIMMs at 2666 MHz, accommodating up to 64 GB of ECC UDIMM memory. For China customers, non-ECC DIMMs are supported but cannot be mixed with ECC modules. The integrated Gigabit Ethernet port ensures standard network connectivity.

Installation Notes

The server supports ASHRAE A2 and A2 environments, indicating resilience to temperature and humidity fluctuations common in business settings. It includes two fixed system fans for cooling, with additional fan support in the processor and power supply areas. The power supply is 80 PLUS Platinum certified, ensuring high efficiency.
