Black Box ACR1020A-R IP-based KVM Extension System
Overview
The Black Box ACR1020A-R is an IP-based KVM extension system designed to transmit DVI-D video, USB, USB2.0, and audio signals over a single standard IP network. This allows you to place workstations in secure, climate-controlled environments while users operate them remotely from a comfortable location. It's ideal for control rooms, broadcast facilities, or any scenario where physical proximity to sensitive hardware is not feasible or desirable.
Compatibility
This KVM extender system is designed to work with DVI-D video sources and standard USB 2.0 peripherals. It operates over a standard IP network, making it compatible with most managed Ethernet switches. For full system functionality, you will need a transmitter and a receiver unit from the same Black Box Agility series.
Installation Notes
Installation requires a standard Cat5e/Cat6 Ethernet cable for network connectivity, not exceeding 100 meters between the transmitter and receiver units. Ensure the network infrastructure supports the necessary bandwidth for video and USB data transmission. Power is supplied via an external power adapter (sold separately) for both the transmitter and receiver units.
