Description

Altronix T2RM7CK1V 8-Door Mercury Access & Power Integration Rack Kit

The Altronix T2RM7CK1V is a factory pre-wired, rack-mount access control power integration kit engineered for 8-door Mercury platform deployments. Built around the Trove2M2R enclosure with an eFlow104NBV power supply/charger at its core, the T2RM7CK1V ships with all sub-assemblies mounted, wired, and terminated — eliminating the hours of field wiring that slow down multi-door installs. It supports one Intelligent Dual Reader Controller and three Dual Reader Interface Modules, making it the right unit when your Mercury headend needs to scale across a full 8-reader deployment in a single rack-mount footprint. Key Features

  • 220VAC Input with Wide Operating Range (198–256VAC): The eFlow104NBV accepts input from 198VAC to 256VAC at 50/60Hz, which means it tolerates the voltage sag common in older commercial buildings or international installations — you won't need a conditioning transformer in most non-standard utility environments.
  • 24VDC @ 10A Primary Output: Ten amps at 24VDC supports Mercury controllers and locking hardware across all eight doors without a supplemental power supply. That's enough headroom to run high-current mag-locks simultaneously on multiple doors without dropping voltage to the control board.
  • 1A Auxiliary (Unswitched) Output: The unswitched auxiliary rail stays live regardless of relay state, making it the right feed for request-to-exit sensors or other always-on peripherals you don't want cycling with the door output.
  • ACMS8 Dual-Input Access Power Controller — 8 Independently Fused Outputs: Each of the eight outputs is individually fused at 3A/32V and configurable as fail-safe, fail-secure, or auxiliary (unswitched). A single wiring fault on one door won't trip the other seven — critical in healthcare or data center access deployments where a subset of doors must stay operational during a fault event.
  • VR6 Voltage Regulator — 12VDC @ 6A Continuous: The integrated VR6 derives 12VDC at 6A from the 24VDC bus, providing a stable second voltage rail for 12V locking hardware without a separate power supply. Surge suppression is built in, protecting downstream hardware from transient events on the primary bus.
  • PDS8 Power Distribution Module — Dual-Voltage Selectable Outputs: Each of the PDS8's eight outputs is independently selectable between 12VDC and 24VDC and can be switched to OFF for servicing without de-energizing the entire enclosure. LED indicators (green for 12V, red for 24V) on each output make field troubleshooting fast — no need to pull a meter to confirm rail state.
  • Instantaneous Failover on AC Loss: The eFlow104NBV switches to battery-backed operation without perceptible delay on AC loss — no door relay dropout or controller reboot during a utility outage. Sealed lead-acid and gel batteries are both supported (sold separately).
  • Low DC Power Shutdown at 70–75% Battery Voltage: Automatic shutdown prevents deep battery discharge before the cells reach a damaging state on 24V units. This matters in extended outage scenarios — batteries that aren't deep-discharged retain capacity and lifespan across many charge cycles.
  • Form 'C' Supervision Contacts for AC Failure and Battery: Both AC failure and battery status are reported via Form C contacts, so you can wire status directly into a fire alarm panel or building management system without adding a separate monitoring relay.
  • Fire Alarm Disconnect — Latching or Non-Latching: The ACMS8 supports both latching and non-latching FACP disconnect modes with a 10K EOL resistor, covering the two most common fire code configurations without field modification.
  • CE Compliant: CE listing supports deployments in EU member-state facilities and simplifies procurement for multinational organizations standardizing on a single access control power platform across regions.
