International Connectors and Cable IC107BC1IV 1-Port Surface Mount Box
Overview
The International Connectors and Cable IC107BC1IV is a single-port surface mount box designed to provide a clean and professional termination point for network cabling. This ivory-colored box is ideal for installations where running cable through walls or ceilings is not feasible, offering a discreet housing for RJ45 connectors or keystone jacks. It simplifies the final connection stage for network drops in offices, conference rooms, or residential environments.
Compatibility
This surface mount box is designed to accommodate standard RJ45 keystone jacks and patch panels. It is compatible with most single-port keystone jack inserts for Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, and Cat7 Ethernet cabling. The internal design allows for secure mounting of the keystone jack, ensuring a stable connection for network devices.
Installation Notes
Installation involves securing the box to a flat surface using appropriate fasteners (not included). The cover then snaps into place, concealing the mounted keystone jack and wiring. Ensure the mounting surface is clean and stable to prevent strain on the network cable connection. The box provides strain relief points for the cable itself.
