Description

Compulocks 140B510APXB Surface GO 1-4 GEN Apex Enclosure

Overview

The 140B510APXB is a protective enclosure purpose-built for Microsoft Surface GO tablets (generations 1–4) deployed in warehouse, inventory management, and field-service environments. The enclosure shields the tablet from impact, dust, and moisture while preserving full access to the touchscreen, charging port, USB connectors, and volume controls — critical when your team is running WMS inventory apps or field-capture workflows and cannot afford to remove the device to charge or connect peripherals. Tool-free installation via precision-fit retention clips means no downtime to equip a fleet of tablets.

Compatibility

The 140B510APXB is engineered exclusively for Microsoft Surface GO models spanning generations 1, 2, 3, and 4. Verify your tablet generation before ordering — this enclosure does not fit Surface Pro, Surface Laptop, or other Microsoft tablet lines. The retention clips are generation-specific; cross-model installation will result in poor fit and potential device damage.

Installation Notes

Mount the enclosure via the integrated retention clips — no tools or fasteners required. Power off the Surface GO before installation. The enclosure design preserves port access (charging, USB-C, headphone jack where present) and volume buttons, allowing continued use of power supplies and external peripherals without removal. Inspect retention clips periodically in high-impact environments (loading docks, vehicle-mounted installations) to confirm secure grip. The design supports landscape and portrait orientation depending on your application workflow.
