Overview

The Vertiv GL-CR-BSK is a butt splice kit designed to create rigid, inline connections between straight cable runway sections. Each kit ships with 4 zinc-plated splice plates and all required hardware, giving you a corrosion-resistant mechanical joint at every runway segment junction — eliminating the flex and misalignment that loose or improvised connections introduce in high-density cable management runs. Zinc plating means the GL-CR-BSK holds up in data center environments where humidity cycling would corrode bare steel over time.

Compatibility

Designed for use with the Vertiv Geist GL-series cable runway system. Compatible straight-runway accessories in the same family include the GL-CR-BSSK adjustable straight splice bracket kit (for variable-gap joins), the GL-CR-VWB vertical wall bracket kit, the GL-CR-VSB vertical support bracket, and the GL-CR-SHBK 1.50″ slotted hanger bracket kit. For corner and junction transitions rather than straight inline joins, use the GL-CR-JSK junction splice kit (also 4 splice plates, zinc plated) or the GL-CORNER-SPLICE wiremesh runway tree and 90-degree bend kit. The GL-BAR-SPLICE splicing fitting is the appropriate choice when a UL-listed bonding connection is required at the segment joint. Do not substitute the GL-CR-BSK for junction or angular transitions — it is engineered for straight, collinear runway segments only.
