Description

ATEN 2L5302UP KVM Cable

Overview

The ATEN 2L5302UP is a 1.8-meter console cable designed to connect a KVM switch to a server or computer. It consolidates multiple connections—VGA video, PS/2 keyboard, PS/2 mouse, and USB Type-A—into a single SPHD-18 connector on the server end. This cable simplifies deployment by reducing the number of cables needed, ideal for environments where space and cable management are critical, such as server racks or dense workstation setups.

Compatibility

This cable is specifically engineered for use with ATEN KVM switches including the CL5808N and CL5816N models, as well as the CS82U and CS84U series. The HDB-15 connector interfaces with the KVM's console port, while the SPHD-18 connector mates with the corresponding port on the target computer or server. Ensure your target system has a compatible SPHD-18 port for video, keyboard, and mouse input.

Installation Notes

The ATEN 2L5302UP features male connectors on both ends: HDB-15, 2x PS/2 (keyboard/mouse), and USB Type-A on the KVM side, and a single SPHD-18 on the server/computer side. Its 1.8-meter length provides sufficient reach for most standard rack deployments without excessive slack. The black PVC jacket offers durability for regular use. No specialized tools are required for connection; simply plug and play.
