Overview

The 5747WH is a white shallow device box fitting from Middle Atlantic's 500/700 Series raceway system — designed to terminate switch and receptacle cutouts cleanly within surface-mounted raceway runs. This fitting handles the transition point where a wiring device (switch, outlet, or low-voltage insert) needs to be mounted flush against an installed raceway section without requiring a deep wall box. The white finish matches standard 500/700 Series raceway components, keeping the install visually consistent in offices, classrooms, and commercial corridors. TAA-compliant, making it eligible for U.S. federal and government-funded projects subject to the Trade Agreements Act.

Intended for standard single-gang device configurations. Confirm series sizing (500 vs. 700) against your existing raceway channel before ordering — the two series are not interchangeable at box fittings.

Installation Notes

Mount to the raceway base after the channel run is secured to the wall surface. The shallow profile is suited for installations where wall depth is limited or a standard deep box would create a protrusion conflict. Canadian certification is not applicable for this fitting — if the installation site requires Canadian certification, verify an alternate fitting in the Middle Atlantic raceway line before spec'ing this SKU.
