Compatibility
The STI-34601 pairs exclusively with STI Wireless Alert Series receivers operating on the 433 MHz frequency. Verify your receiver model supports wireless button enrollment before purchase — the pairing process is managed through the receiver's programming interface. This button is a transmit-only device and does not function as a standalone controller; it requires an active STI receiver to process the signal and actuate downstream strike or notification hardware. If you are integrating into an existing access control panel or door strike controller, confirm the panel supports STI Wireless Alert receiver inputs.
Installation Notes
The STI-34601 uses a single CR2032 coin cell battery that powers the device for extended periods depending on button press frequency. Battery life and low-battery indicators are managed by the paired receiver. Mount the button using either the included #6-32" screws (requires 3/32" pilot holes) or EVA tape, depending on surface material. The backplate tabs align with the cover screw slot — ensure the backplate is seated under the tab before final fastening. Button dimensions are 3.55" (90 mm) height × 1.02" (26 mm) width × 0.735" (19 mm) depth. The streamlined form factor fits standard doorway installations without overhang. No field configuration of the button itself is required — all pairing and programming occur at the receiver.
