Compatibility

This backbox kit is compatible with STI Stopper II and Weather Stopper II series devices, including models such as the STI-1250 and STI-3150. It is intended for use with manual fire alarm break glass call points and other larger devices that require a protective enclosure.

Installation Notes

Installation involves positioning the backbox frame over the device, marking and drilling four fixing holes using a 7mm masonry drill bit. The backbox is then secured with the provided screws. A weather gasket is used to ensure a seal against the environment. The included ½" NPT plug is used to seal any unused cable entry points, maintaining the integrity of the enclosure against dust and moisture ingress.
